		<description>Interesting post. In terms of Cloud Storage I think meta data is very important indeed. I&#039;m a developer at SMEStorage who provides a cloud storage unification platform. We enable you to use Amazon S3, Mosso Clouds etc but we also allow you to treat GMail as a cloud as well as any email system. We also allow you to combine offerings such as S3+Gmail for example.

We don&#039;t store any data but we do store meta-information about the data i.e. where it resides in the virtual file system, how it is tagged, who the provider is etc. We can move this associated data with the data itself from storage cloud to storage cloud. It does not reside with the data or create &quot;new data&quot; as Jungle Disk does for example with the meta information it stores about data.
